Do you have a mulching lawn mower? Mow through them so they get chopped up. Try to do this in one area so you can rake them easily into garden beds and spread around your plants. They will decompose fairly quickly & enrich your topsoil. Earthworms will love them! Soil bacteria & fungus will break them down further & by spring, nutrients will be seeping down for roots to take them up into trees, shrubs & next year's flowers.
