@ChrisaHickey All of those points are valid. I also find that there is a lot of misunderstanding even amongst families of the mentally ill. They try to apply neurotypical behavior to them and judge them and find them wanting. It's not fair.

@MsJudyJetson Absolutely agree! I work with families raising children diagnosed with SMI - childhood onset and - these kids need accommodations at school and at home.
