The betrayal when you find out the things you confided in someone while you were at your lowest had been spread to others without your knowledge. Worse when you find it's your own mother broadcasting as CNN.

<grumble grumble grumble>

I hope she is prepared for a come to Jesus talk this afternoon.

Last week I had a migraine with nausea for two days because the migraine was manifesting the sickening sweet scent of formaldehyde like in composite wood. And tonight I smell sickening sweet blueberry muffins. Countdown until the nausea and pain.

What is going on?

You should never fight
With a lover for your life
You deserve the sun
Just as much as anyone

I wish, I wish you could climb in my heart
Down where the real feelings are
You'd hear a real work of art
So please, come over here next to me
Lie in my arms silently
I'll show the things I can't sing

I raised my voice in anger today.
It was a little shocking and scary,

you see --
a lady never does so.

She keeps her anger locked away while she struggles for composure.

Strangles as the words are captured at the back of her throat.

A smooth brow.
An unlined veneer.
The serene visage never giving her away.

Looking years younger due to decades of masking her impulses

to yell
to scream
to rail at the injustice of it all.

That to live the perfect life..
She must remain a fake.

For when it is one of those days.. like today. Remember please, you are enough.

@greenshrink I try to understand as well. though for me it was always more a way to offer excuses (and grant forgiveness) for other peoples' behavior. Not the healthiest of reasons, but I can't stop that inquisitiveness.

@misterfive The only news show I watch is The Beat with Ari Melber on MSNBC. From the very first epi I found what I was looking for.. a legal analysis from legal professionals without a bunch of BS. He and his guests do not always agree, which is lovely for a change from the insipid gatherings of "yes men" on other shows and networks (including MSNBC).

@Armchaircouch I'm happy for your discovery. 💟

My therapist asked me and before I could say make other people feel good, she told me I had to pick something for my self. Not that I don't find joy making others feel good and smile, but I know what she means.

I'm still struggling with this. I have lost myself over the years and am on a healing journey.

I was curious about the discovery of others.

@th3heal3r I like that and ironically I never thought of that. 😃

What is your purpose in life? If yes, how did you discover your purpose and what is it? If no, how are you trying to discover it?

As always, this is a judgement free zone. You may ask questions of others' responses for clarification, but no condescension please. We are all as varied as the stars in the sky, yet we all shine.

I lie here in a riot of sunlight
watching the day break and the clouds flying.
Everything is going to be all right.
