Covid update..
It's been one week since the onset of symptoms, 6 days since testing positive, and I finished the paxlovid this morning.
My temp reached 100.5 (my normal is 97.5) and that lingered a few days. All cold symptoms were gone except for a dry cough since day 3. Yesterday I thought I was feeling better with no fever and went to the lake to sit outside and read. Came home an hour later and slept for 3 hours. Woke up to another low fever.

I hope you’re well beyond the other end of it soon. 💛
@ATXJane Thanks! The test line on the second test was darker than the first and darker than the control line. But I am just denying any bad meaning to that. LOL
Other than getting tired, I feel pretty good.
@ChippySuave
I’m glad you had the Paxlovid. Hope you wake tomorrow feeling the the corner is well and fully turned.
Paxlovid is expensive w/o insurance ($1750 vs $25).
But if you can get it is worth it. Despite the bad aftertaste (it's rapidly going away after the last dose), it does minimize most symptoms.
I still test positive and with the low fever I still need to isolate. But I would rather do that than get someone else ill who can't fight it off.
Please be careful. This variant is rapidly spreading.
