An accurate depiction of the way it was, and as I experienced throughout my time in that decade and mostly those since.
It's because of that, I've maintained that faith in humanity because I've always ascertained humans are that loving, compassionate and with good intentions.
As he's mentioned, because of our inundation otherwise with 24 hr "news", we've become conditioned to think all has ceased. It has not. I'll continue with hope in my heart.
