Well, it finally happened.. some guy in Brooklyn tried to by an apple watch ($450+) for pick-up through my Best Buy rewards number which had my visa attached to it. Luckily both Best Buy and my bank flagged it as a suspicious purchase and invalidated the transaction.

I had to order a new visa and told my kids they can now buy their own things instead of needing my account easily on hand.

Eeeps.

Same thing happened to me when I used my Chase credit card to buy 55” TV my sons were buying me for Christmas. It was at Walmart (hate) but online Black Friday sale and they delivered free the next day. My card was promptly used for $19 in store purchase. Chase immediately cancelled card & issued new one. Never ever will shop at Walmart again.
