The family now is pretty much out of the woods and on a recovery path.

My DIL summed up her family experience:
“Our family flu story in numbers (15 days and counting): 17+ lbs lost, 13 school/work days missed, $250 in medications, 17 missed activities/appointments(including family portraits 😞), 20 boxes of tissues. We seem to be on the mend, nobody went to the hospital, and my parents came and took care of us at our worst, so for that we are very thankful. Hoping we can move on now.”
