I’m hoping Texas can rehabilitate her bad rep. I grew up here and saw some of the best & most inspiring here - but admittedly it was Austin. Now it’s hard not to be embarrassed. Especially by Abbott, Paxton, Cruz, et al.
OTOH knowing how severely gerrymandered the state is, Beto’s loss was - in some ways - a tremendous win. Some of the best people you’ll ever meet are Texans. Please don’t count us out!💛
