thought I'ld go on the utube and watch critter vids to boost my spirit
stumbled across story after story of dumped dogs and cats
these trusting dependent critters brought into families during the pandemic to keep folks company, and now cruelly thrown away now that they are no no longer convenient
these people are forever irredeemable

i so wanted to get a cat during the pandemic. i've had cats before. 1 died. 1 we had to give away so she could be an outdoor cat again. 1 went with my son. but i knew i would be moving in a year or two & didn't know what the living situation would be like.
now i see all the cats on here & would love one. but my bldg doesn't allow them. being an adult means being fucking responsible. doh!
& yes, peeps suck.
