A warning: Just because this generation of right-wing judges has been reluctant to simply assign wins to Republicans regardless of what the voters say does *not* mean that, in the future, the Federalist Society (or its post-TFG equivalent) won't recruit more Aileen Cannons who are willing to do just that.
