I’m in a nail salon waiting for Chris to be done. The Masked Singer Vietnam is on the telly and the salon ladies are having a lovely chat in Vietnamese and giggling and this is the Montreal I love.

(Not to mention twice a week trips to the gym and more walking lately)

So it turns out that eating less salty, greasy food and extra snacks out of boredom while watching TV actually makes it so I lose the weight I want to lose. IT'S ALMOST LIKE SCIENCE IS RIGHT.

Huh.. a tradesman who cares about quality. the sink refinisher came by to show me the sink and said "look, I'm really unhappy with how the bottom looks, I'm going to take it back to my spot and redo it and get it back to you on Monday".

Everytime a (usually a woman) journalist/commentator speaks out about the various toxic aspects of hockey culture they get attacked (thus proving the point). "How's your day going Cameron?" you ask. Well I just smashed my head off my office wall while plugging in a cable into the back of my computer. So, erm, about fucking normal really.

The thing I love is how predictable people are about Biden. The ones who hate him are like "omg unequal trade" or "took too long" and then there are the people who want other folks released. Also on the bird there are heaps calling her names about her gender and sexuality. I'm very tired.

It would appear to have been super organized and the police and the protestors played nicely together. Which is not always the case in Montreal.

There are more protests later this week, I'm a bit nervous about the one on Saturday. There is no start location decided on, so that feels a bit more .. fraught.
