@barbaraedelman bag? Yes.
@Camerondotca so 2 of you say they may freeze & 1 says they will not ☹️ what if i bring bring them in-they’re outside right now-and put ice packs in the bag? will they stay cold till tomorrow morning when the turkey vacates the fridge?
@barbaraedelman I mean it depends on what it is.
@Camerondotca cranberry sauce & pickled onions, both in covered glass serving dishes. a fruit salad will be joining them shortly.
@barbaraedelman look I’m not a good science sort of dude but I reckon if you keep them out there for another hour or so and then put ice packs and then put the bag they’re in into another bag you’re good. Onions won’t go off very quickly cause if pickling. Cranberry is slow as well I reckon but the fruit salad could go wrong with either freezing or too warm.
@barbaraedelman I'm very vested in this: how is the food. Also I wanted to tell you how I know it would freeze: I was broke. Lost my job. So, in a fit of stupid I turned my apartment heat WAY down and unplugged the fridge. In the fridge was a bottle of water (like a glass one I'd refill). It froze and blew up. So yeah..
@barbaraedelman YAY!
@Camerondotca i’m glad to provide update! onions & cran were cold & happy after night in insulated bag with ice packs. they’re now in fridge as the turkey has left, permanently. 2 covered bowls of fruit salad are now on the balcony railing. the onions dribbled a bit while i was moving the bag around & it needs to be rinsed out & daughter wants to rinse it in the bathtub & i said, no you have to do it outside i don’t care if it’s cold & that’s right about where we r right now.
