I was a Republican from 2014-2021.
Before that from 2006-2014 I was a member of the NY independence party.
But the entire time I never voted with party and always voted on who I believed represents me, my family, my state and my country.
Today I did the same thing. Even at the table picking my candidates I was hesitant. I'm not perfect but I feel I had a voice and used it. We live in a teetering democracy. Use your voice too.
