So if you were Hakeem Jeffries, and Mike Johnson came to you and asked for just enough Democratic votes to remain speaker, what would you ask for?
@Boyceaz I would argue that it would have actually been better if they had done this with Kevin, but that was a VERY unpopular opinion at the time. My reasoning was that he was known quantity, and I suspected his replacement would be far worse. Turns out I was right.
