@ChillySnowgirl the original is the Best Chilly.
@BosFanTina I've never seen the one with Julianne Moore, so i can't choose until i do. I admired her acting talent back when she was on "As The World Turns", so i think she probably did a good job as the mom. The things i dislike with the original are:
~Travolta being in it (i'm just not a fan)
~and there's at least one scene (haven't watched it in yrs so going on memory here) with him that has a ridiculous amount of swearing to the point of annoyance
@ChillySnowgirl I like julianna more too. I only saw that carrie once and was not impressed. There was nothing meaning about that mom or the house IMO. I think your remembering the pig killing scene with Travolta.
