Are any of you guys in the area where the cicadas are emerging by the thousands?

Being very vulnerable and honest here: I just went to buy food for my cats and realized my funds for food, meds and other basic expenses are depleted, this extended stay has been too much for my limited income (and right now in the middle of moving, I'm not taking any new students 😕 ).. Can someone explain why people on Facebook seem incapable of recognizing AI images? The comments are always full of awe and wonder, and many questions about where and how they can buy the "stuff" in the picture... . I'm not convinced it's all bots in the comments section either.
