So, um, my husband went to my nephew's concert. I'm home with the pets, but I have the concert streaming on YouTube.

There is a flutist wearing a face mask. Fine, I love masks. But she pulls it down to play. And to play, you have to, you know, blow air through it. A steady stream of air. Who is a mask helping at that point? I'm so confused. 🤔

The quantity of exposure makes a difference. Even at the beginning of the pandemic, less than 15 minutes of shared atmosphere with an infected person wasn't enough to cause identifiable COVID illness.

I still wear my mask in public settings. When anyone asks why I share my 2 reasons:
1. Immune compromised
2. 17 close dead relatives who regretted not wearing a mask in crowded spaces
