A VPN, which stands for Virtual Private Network, protects its users by encrypting their data and masking their IP addresses. This hides your browsing activity, identity, and location, allowing for greater privacy and autonomy. Anyone seeking a safer, freer, and more secure online experience could benefit from using a VPN.
@Bliss I'd like to mention that using a VPN made a big difference with my old internet provider.
I noticed that I got much better speeds when using it than not, because they were throttling my connection after a few moments. When speed is 10x faster with a VPN in the way (it should slow things a little, if anything) - suspicious.
The VPN allowed me to get much better connection speed during the period it took to dump my provider after I realized they were doing that, and got with a new one.
