"According to Romania’s Directorate for the Investigation of Organized Crime and Terrorism said in a statement that police raided five homes as part of an investigation into organized crime, human trafficking, and rape. The suspects allegedly kept at least six women captive in houses outside of Bucharest, where they sexually assaulted the women and forced them to produce pornography for social media under threats of violence.

well, he fled the UK because MI5 and interpol were investigating him for the same crimes.

From what I've read, he was evading Romanian police when they tried to serve him with a warrant for the rape of a US young woman last year, where the US Embassy needed the help of Romanian police to rescue her. During this raid they freed 6 women held captive and who 2 who accused Tate and his brother of rape.

I hope they're able to have a solid case so he doesn't hurt anyone else.

I was wondering why he was in Romania, but it was still a dumb choice. I suppose it's part of the hubris of being a narcissist with too much "success".

@rthstew @Bliss The guy is so disgusting. His arrogance and self perceived "untouchableness" are going to be his worst enemy. I hope they jail him forever and his Bugatti and other toys are all auctioned and the money given to the victims.
