The Geminids Meteor Shower Peaks Dec.14th

The Geminids often provide the strongest meteor display of the year. Unfortunately, December's bright moonlight will spoil much of the late evening show.

Meteors will be radiating from an area near the bright star Castor. The radiant is well up in the sky by 9pm when viewed from the mid-northern latitudes.

The Geminids should peak Dec 14th between 6pm and 9pm EST.
