In Nazi Germany librarians were jailed for having “The wrong books”, there are multiple proposed bills in red states that impose jail time on librarians who have “The wrong books”.

The Nazis also banned writings that contradicted or challenged their beliefs. I’ll let you guess which party also does this in multiple states.
