Proposed Texas bill would make it a felony to dress in public in any way that doesnā€™t correspond with your assigned birth sex.

Texas is creating fashion police to tell you how to dress.

If you donā€™t obey you have committed a class 3 felony and you get put on a sex offender registry.

@BlastBunny uh. Do women supporting that realize that means they could be banned from wearing pants? Heck, bring back corsets and eleventy billion layers of skirts!

Dude there are women who think women shouldnā€™t vote or have jobs.

Conservatives are weapons grade averse to anything outside the ā€œTraditionalā€ America.

Which honestly would be fine, if you want to live that way knock yourself out.

Where it gets fascist is thatā€™s not good enough

ALL WOMEN must behave in his way

And all men must behave a certain way as well

Thereā€™s no room for anything but traditional Christian lifestyles for them.

They call this freedom

@BlastBunny I think many of those women mistakenly think they will be the exception so they personally wonā€™t lose anything, just all those other ppl.

@BlastBunny Thereā€™s a lot of conservative types (and also extremist types in general) like that. The rules will only apply to everyone else. But thatā€™s not generally how it works.

@PirateFoxxy

ā€œHeā€™s not hurting the people he needs to be hurtingā€

How was I supposed to know that voting for more pain on others would mean more pain on me!?
