Already backtracking.

So 3 things

1: He either can’t find anyone knowledgeable to run Twitter because dumpster fire.

Or

2: He setting up an announcement that he’s found a CEO and will still own the company just not be CEO.

Or

3: He thought the poll was going to be overwhelmingly in his favor and it’s not so now time to restrict the vote

Either way….not a very free speech change to make. Not like he actually ever cared about free speech.
