We live in a culture of anxiety. The news grabs at this fact and promotes sensationalism, knowing that a great number of people will eat it up. This in turn makes existing conditions worse for anxiety-ridden folks and heightens suspicion and paranoia. Add to this poor education and lack of critical thought and you have the perfect storm. Vulnerable people fall for sociopathic nutcases preying on their fears. It's Hitler's playbook.
@thewebrecluse emotions are a guide but not always an accurate one...if something feels creepy it usually is, and thats when emotions come in handy. However being directed by emotions as if they're facts instead of thinking about them as reactions that may or may not have any basis, and responding to them as such, is where people get themselves in trouble.

@th3j35t3r Those and the godforsaken "Leadership" trainings when the leaders who should go don't and those of us who have to go...manage to sneak in a goofy name on their certs:
Artist, musician, psychotherapist. Lover of animals and some humans. I'm the one who can't decide on raising horns or giving the finger in the cover photo 🎭
