This is messed up. Company insist we return to office doing same telehealth as we did at home...but with no furniture brought a camping chair and lap table for laptop. Ceiling a mess too.

@Blackwolf

Huh, they must not care about OSHA recordable ergonomic injuries.

@Blackwolf Does your company know that your company is doing this? Honest question, having worked for corporations… 🙄

@nopuppet_007 yes we had direct orders from directors to return knowing there is no furniture yet. it's ordered but not in office.

@Blackwolf I’d put good money on it that the corporate execs overseeing the interior planning project decided that supply chain issues were just excuses by the PMs, and that they could “make it happen” if they just put their noses to the grindstone.
Then you guys get to live with the foreseeable consequences, and the PMs take the fall while the execs collect their outrageous salaries. It’s complete nuts that they didn’t revise your return-to-office schedule.😲

@nopuppet_007 This is tribal stuff. They don't operate the same as the typical corporation. The office furniture was ordered, just is arriving 2 hours away and has to be picked up and put together from boxed state. In meantime the mentality is that they are paying for the lease so we have to go use the space.

@Blackwolf well, if it’s ever impressed upon you that it’s your job to assemble it as well, I’m 95% certain sure that would be an OSHA violation.

@nopuppet_007 yup just was told to put the shit together myself. I said I have actual work to finish first...lol
