People love to use the excuse "I'm just being honest" as a free pass to insult others, when the fact is, REAL brutal honesty is more like, "I love your hat because it reminds me of a teacher I had in the 4th grade who had us act out our favorite scenes from books and taught us how to watch a solar eclipse without frying our eyeballs."
