The George Santos saga puts me in mind of another person of my acquaintance--an inveterate grifter--who had about fifty aliases and online identities, had repeatedly changed their real-world name, represented themself as Scottish, Maltese, Kurdish or something else vaguely Middle Eastern, and claimed by turns to be Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Zoroastrian, and Druid. The more you picked at their story, the less truth there was, and in the end you wondered if they even knew what their own name was.

@DavidSalo Actually a movie about one who posed as a surgeon, did surgeries, and never went to med school...as well as other imposters. Called "Chameleon", not easy to find.
