The stranglehold on rural America must be broken. This is going to take a couple of generations to accomplish because it final answer is educating people to know better.

@AndersonArtwork my husbands from a very poor farming community in MI and he says exactly the same thing “education” ironically the worse it gets, the stronger the dig in for trump & the crazy.

I'm from MI originally and lived there over 40 years and will concur. The "Dumbing Down" of America is EXACTLY what politicians want. They say so much in fact (Trump's "I LIKE uneducated people" had a different meaning than what the uneducated defined it to mean)
This is becoming a common tale in many areas
