@Blackwolf I would start with something smaller !Two reasons one recoil two cost per round !Also availability think 308 win is more common our millitary uses it still easy to buy surplus ?Bolt action 223 rem /556 softer recoil and does a good job stoping things! .!Guess it’s what you learning for hunting 3006 is good for anything you come across!
