Elon is so hilariously desperate to recoup the money he paid for Twitter. While Twitter has been a money pit for years, Elon has increased how much money Twitter is losing by orders of magnitude.

It's adorable. He's not going to be able to pay the first loan repayment without digging more into his Tesla stock, at least not without some measure of chicanery or perhaps help from his bestie Pete.
At this point, I'll be genuinely surprised if Elon remains CEO or even owner by the end of 2023.
If Elon does relinquish being CEO/the owner, he'd try to do it in the most covert way possible to maintain his reputation among his rabid fans.
