@Bix Except really what is happening is they are telling people they have a chance to win (so it is a lottery) but they are _also_ defrauding those people, because they don't have a chance to win.

Preselecting the "winners" is fraud, and having the lottery (cheating or not) is election interference.

It's still intended to illegally interfere with an election by advertising prizes. And it's also fraud, since they can't win.

@Bix I don't know the laws over there, but would this fall foul of gambling laws?
