Nicholas Grossman:
John Roberts sounds delusional.
Not insane or hallucinating. But so out of touch, so deep in a bubble that Roberts—per this NYT report—thought his awfully reasoned, wildly un-American immunity ruling would be well received by the public & history.
He ruled the Declaration of Independence, Constitutional convention, Federalist papers, Washington, Adams, and T. Roosevelt were all wrong about the presidency, while Nixon & Trump were right.

@Bix His nickname is Potted Plant Roberts. That about says it all.

I don't even know how to respond to this. My head hurts and I want to cry

@Bix He can’t have thought that. He read the dissents.

@Bix

After the "Presidential immunity" case was decided, by CJ Roberts, I wrote that he basically:
"... declared the Constitution unconstitutional."

He chose to shield all presidents' "official acts" from criminal liabilities, UNLESS convicted by the supermajority of Senators in a post-Impeachment (House) trial in the Senate.

Doing so frees the Beast. I think Biden should test the Roberts Doctrine any day now! Let's see how Roberts likes Alito and Thomas removed from service by Official Act.
