Trey, it almost time for a vacation with my older brothers with our motorbikes. One day, you will have to join us.

You have previously been informed that I do not “vacation.”
Now I am letting you know that vehicular travel is dangerous enough when you’re seated behind the motor (or in some cases, in front of) with a seat belt to retard the physics of sudden forward acceleration…
That said, you’re a good friend for offering. Take this GIF as a token of my appreciation and warm fuzzies. ❤️
@InUnfunky @Bix @CanisPundit @evamarie @JoyfullyDazed @Mfieck
No vacations? Home in the rear view is always awesome. The only thing more awesome is your own bed upon return!
@CinnamonGirlE @Bix @CanisPundit @evamarie @JoyfullyDazed @Mfieck
Yeah, I wasn't a lot of fun as a kid, Cinni.
And it was soon discovered that -- for the sake of everyone -- better if I was just left at home.
Some books, my guitar, some Frosted Mini-Wheats. I'd be just fine.
🤓
@InUnfunky @Bix @CanisPundit @evamarie @JoyfullyDazed @Mfieck
Hey, I am a homebody too. I really am. But I do enjoy escaping every once in a while. It gives you something to be excited about!
@JoyfullyDazed @CinnamonGirlE @Bix @CanisPundit @evamarie @Mfieck
Dear Ex --
I'm sorry, but I couldn't resist.
Are you taking offense on behalf of Cinni?
Nice!
Speaking of Honorary Masshole-By-Marriage Jenny From The Block, have you seen the latest? Bixie didn't tell me about it and I'm still wikkid pissah mad.
(looking at your next reply that just popped up, lol, see esp. this commercial 😆)
@InUnfunky @CinnamonGirlE @Bix @CanisPundit @evamarie @Mfieck
Yep, for my sister, Cin. 💖
Of course I've seen it, born and bred, Dear Ex.
Matt cracks me tf up. 😂
@JoyfullyDazed @InUnfunky @Bix @CanisPundit @evamarie @Mfieck
Thanks Lisa! 💕
Be nice Trey. 😉
🤣😂
@JoyfullyDazed @CinnamonGirlE @Bix @CanisPundit @evamarie @Mfieck
Heh, lulz.
Hey Cinni --
Wassup with that kissy face AVI? I just saw it...🤔 😂
@InUnfunky @CinnamonGirlE @Bix @CanisPundit @evamarie @Mfieck
Yeah, Cinny, what's up with the kissy face?
@JoyfullyDazed @InUnfunky @Bix @CanisPundit @evamarie @Mfieck
I didn't remember, but now do, that Trey only has a couch to his name. I am sorry Trey. I will be nicer. And I really was just sending love back. 😊
@CinnamonGirlE @JoyfullyDazed @InUnfunky @CanisPundit @evamarie @Mfieck
Come on, Trey has a Swedish automobile.
@Bix @JoyfullyDazed @InUnfunky @CanisPundit @evamarie @Mfieck
Lovely 😊

I want a shot of Keith Moon; he wrote some good lyrics on this 1968 single.

Good morning!
Trey, in 1980, Sir John Johns, The Red Curtain, Lord Cornelius Plum & E.I.E.I. Owen heard this song and formed The Dukes of Stratosphear.

From reading the liner notes, The dB's first single (1978) was written by Television's Richard Lloyd.

I don't remember this one but I really miss that era, right before MTV came in and made your looks more important than your musical ability.

I'm not crazy about that one, it is reminiscent of Motown, to me that's the antithesis of British pop.
@Charles_Hawtrey @BrentSullivan @JoyfullyDazed @CinnamonGirlE @InUnfunky @CanisPundit @evamarie @Mfieck @UmbaSaffire
But Paul Weller loves Motown / soul. At the end of The Jam, he wanted turn it into a soul band.

At the end of The Jam, Weller wanted turn it into a soul band. Rick & Bruce didn't want to go that way, and Paul broke up the band.
I like The Jam's soul music better than Weller's The Style Council, which came next.

No problem. To each, their own.
I love full Mod-mode The Jam, and love them with a soul horn section (I wish that I got one more record with the horn section).
