It was very good. Plus, it fired up my brain, "How much of Western Civ 101 do I remember?"
I love history, especially Western Civilization. I spent a lot of the last few years studying the early Middle Ages through the Renaissance, and right now, I’m still studying the eastern Roman Empire (Byzantium). So, yeah, I completely nerd out when good historical fiction comes out. 🤓
