I think who can afford a whole home/building backup power generator is going to be a new "haves vs. haves not" front in this new climate era that makes swiss cheese out of our power grids.

I have Ecoflow batteries, they hold a charge year - unlike some no-name batteries that I bought.

My brother bought (not rented) solar panels for his roof. He is now getting $0 electric bills. It was very expensive to get the panels.
It will be one more "have and have not" situation in our country.
@Bix Ecoflow makes these little packs too. My research showed that the battery types used by Ecoflow and Bluetti are better suited going forward, like that kind of tech will last longer into the future.
