@Bix Yeah, we're fucked. Up until a few years ago, I was mostly worried about nieces and nephews (born 2005 and after). Now I'm trying to handicap my own chances of death due to climate change (food shortages, pollution, newly evolved fungi/bacterial, weather events, etc) and I'm nearly 50.

Yes. My parents' generation (in their mid-80's) were the golden age - a giant pension and global warming was not knocking on their door.
