It's that rare time of the year when the weather drops below 50 degrees & iguanas (all lizards, really) start dropping from the trees & bushes.

Getting prepared for hurricanes is stressful.
But I'm actually just as stressed about 20 degree weather hitting us, because I don't even own a coat.

It's not the climate change that's gonna get me, it's the prepping/anticipatory stress that will do it. 😱

My hubs is like my personal instacart shopper with a lot of rules as to how the shopping is gonna go down.

I don't like Nov/Dec.
Aside from all the holiday stuff ppl go on about, it seems like I get inundated with a stupid amount of expenses.

Taxes, insurances, other nonsense that waits until the end of the year to arrive.

And then the New Year brings - duh duh duh - tax season!

I feel like the holidays/tax season etc should only happen like Leap Years only.

I like #animalcrossing but I have to be wide awake/caffeinated to play it because it's so relaxing, it makes me sleepy. #gaming #nintendo 😴 I've fallen asleep in the "dressing room" before.

This is the 1st Xmas in many, many, years - that I've allowed Christmas-y things to be in my world.
Long story short: My hubs loves singing, playing Xmas music on guitar. 🎅 😜

Had outpatient procedures done yesterday. I'm SHOCKED (well,kinda) at the apathy of everyone from patients to staff - who DON'T WEAR MASKS.
I'm not talking about when they're casually outside or eating. Literally in the O.R. and the only masked ppl were me & the CRNA. Not the tech, not the surgical nurse, and not the Dr. when he came in to talk to me before (and after) procedure.
One patient was coughing so hard, non-stop, while unmasked staff cared for her 😷 😩 WTF

#CoSo seems to appeal more to introverts & ppl not into small talk. I really like that.
I can do a few minutes IRL of small talk, then I'm drained.

Also, love not being attacked by bots/trolls/shills. I can't emphasize this enough.

I watched "That Hamilton Woman" with Laurence Olivier & Vivien Leigh.
A fantastic, old historical, film, but - I still don't understand the appeal of Olivier.
Give me Cary Grant, Gene Kelly, James Stewart over Olivier any day.
