My social media break for a couple of months was a great reset for me. It was my most productive period for making art in recent history. But at the end of the day I still need to share my work with the world and that is limited without the social media channel. I have decided to put all of my energy into Reddit and Counter Social as these have yielded the best results for getting my message out. I think, non-coincidentally, these are generally the most positive communities in internet land.

Did all of the thanksgiving cooking again this year. I think this was my best one yet! It is truly a great feeling to host people. Wish I could have shared some of my Turkey with you, #coso! #thanksgiving

I had another celebrity dream last night. I was at a fall festival and Eminem was walking around handing out flyers for everyone to go check out his new restaurant. Then we all played flag football. #dream

“This country is full of criminals! Why are they coming after me, the biggest criminal, instead of all of them?! They must all be corrupt and love crime!” (They are running out of ways to defend themselves and are beyond scraping the barrel).

I am really proud of all the songs on my new album but one that has a special place in my heart is “Gravity.” I have been making music in alternate time signatures for many years now and have made several songs in 7/8 time. It can often be a bit of a jarring time signature because the measure ends just before you expect it to. Gravity is 7/8 but it is absolutely laid back and chill, with some nice funk to it. It just flows in a way I haven’t been able to get 7/8 to flow before. #cosomusic

Started some new notebooks today. Each with their own purpose. I love the excitement of the unknown and knowing my thoughts and sketches will have a home. They will be as imperfect and beautiful as my life. #cosoart #cosoartist
