Hi #coso! I hope you haven't forgotten about me. I have been on a social media sabbatical for a while focusing on my family and my art. I am releasing a song at midnight which is a reflection on this mental space I've been in. It's called Analog, and I am so proud of this song. It is the first time I have really heard my intentions in a piece of music I've made. It doesn't release for another 53 minutes, but it is live on my Bandcamp now for you! @chaddus2_0 I have been using the “Smart Go One” app. They have a whole host of books and practice problems to learn and you can play games against the computer to practice. Eventually I will start playing against people on the OGS server. Just taking it a step at a time and trying to practice a bit every day.

Early on in my mental health journey I had a hard time coming to terms with being on medication for the rest of life. I imagined it as a new organ that my body could not live without. 14 years later and now I affectionately regard it more as a warm sweater. I am still a normal human, just now I can enjoy the fall days a little more. #mentalhealth #mentalillness
