Yesterday I found a new comic store Ghost Cactus comics (Sun City West, AZ). Daredevil 22 $5, cover damage but is attached. Incredible Hulk 104 $30. Savage She-Hulk 1 $100. Champions 3, $5.

Would have bought more if I had not blown my budget on eBay.

@kaequinn My first encounter would be Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe Master Edition (90 - 93 reference before the interenet). Which led me to Fallen Angels (86)

I think it is only fair I give Counter Social $8 a month as opposed to Elon.

Side note, I stopped my company's $2,000 a month ad spend with Twitter and canceled my personal Blue account.

@ATXJane ...and some luck. I found 100 and some other issues in a friend's garage. He told me I could have them or throw them away. o.O

"Devil Dinosaur" is a Marvel Comics cult classic created by Jack Kirby featuring a huge, crimson-colored Tyrannosaurus-like theropod dinosaur. Devil Dinosaur and his companion, Moon-Boy, are residents of "Dinosaur World," a parallel universe where humanoid creatures live among dinosaurs and other prehistoric creatures. The characters first appeared in" Devil Dinosaur #1 (April 1978).

Black Goliath 1- 5 (1976)

I can't really tell if this was meant to be a limited series or a regular series. Marvel did not add limited series on short runs until the 80s. But during the time of this run, Marvel was trying to expand its audience to a more diverse group of people. So it may have been intended as a long-running series but did not get enough sales to keep going.

Today's arrivals from an eBay Auction..

Captain Anmerica (1968) 8 issues out of 102 - 120. I didn't need 102, 103, or 116. But it was far cheaper to buy a collection than individual issues. I only need 110 issues to complete the series.

My duplicate pile is now over 700 issues, I wish I were good at trading.

Daredevil 254, May 1988 First appearance of Mary Typhoid.

I bid on the CGC case with the intention of cracking it free if I could not find one out of the case, but found the one on the right. But still won the GCC case for $20. Out of the case was $30. 🤔

@badkoukla I would say Marvel 1980s - 93 is my favorite art and story wise. After that my interests went towards DC-Vertigo. Prior to that I have more of interest in monster/horro comics of the 60s/70s.

Looking for Defenders number 1 I found in excellent condition most of the first 10 issues at the budget I had for just issue 1. Just need 43 more issues to complete the set.

Spectacular Spider-Man vol 1 is complete. My second most desired collection next to Amazing Spider-Man.

263 issues and 14 annual run from 1976 - 1998,

I actually have two #1's. The first I earned from converting a comic store from paper to digital orders, and the second was when I was liquidating my bitcoin earlier this year.

Daredevil 7 February 4, 1965

Now the oldest in my DD collection.

The first red suit issue, before it was yellow and brown.

My oldest Daredevil until later today, number 8 April 1, 1965.

The first appearance of Stilt Man. Second appearance of Daredevil's red costume.

These are my first comics. They were given to me as a Christmas present by an aunt that tried to talk my mother into putting me up for adoption. Which might explain why they had a clearance sticker on the bag.

What were your first comics?
