What I picked up from Ghost Cactus Comics out of Sun City West, AZ. I traded a few of my duplicate issues for some key issues.... as well as some other dups. Did I need another Alpha Flight 1? No. But I wanted a display copy.

@BenjaminSpider Where in SCW is this? Up by RHJohnson and Camino Del Sol? I spent a lot of time up that way including getting my haircut at the barber shop, I don't recall seeing a comic book store in SCW in my travels.

Honestly, one of the last places I would expect to find a comic store. Since it is mostly a retirement community. But it is a genius spot, since retirees may want to part with their comics.
@BenjaminSpider Across from McDonald's. I think there's a SAS shoes in there and a doctor in the corner there. 10050 rings a bell. Lol.
If you know the ugly green wheelchair vans of Total Transit, I drove one for a few years, before my stroke. I spent quite some time picking up and dropping off on Thunderbird, especially 94th Drive.
Have you checked out the bakery at the strip mall on Bell, just down the hill in Surprise? It's the equivalent of 117th Ave...I want to say Prairie Dawn.

Good sandwiches, great pastries. I used the put myself in the left lane on Bell to avoid automatically turning into their driveway.
@BenjaminSpider I really enjoy snowmen. For Xmas I received a 1957 Snowman comic book called Killer Snowmen. They have Lazer eyes and a spaceship in the background on the cover. I see people selling artwork of the front page of this comic book. 😊
