I guess I'm that exception.

When the pandemic hit and we were sent home I did some system overhauls that I otherwise would not have been able to if the place was still open.

I also took the time to learn, study and pass certification exams for myself, to improve my personal situation and if my employer didn't appreciate it (the didn't) I'd move on to someplace that did (which I did)

Guess I'm that exception though
