@mojoman04 IMO, they aren’t falling apart. Time after time, the GOP has shown that once they get past the primaries, they are in lockstep behind their candidate. Their message discipline is strong. The Dems can’t agree on messaging and appear fragmented in contrast. But I have been screaming about the Dem inferior messaging w/what I think are superior ideas, for decades.

@mojoman04 Me too but as I said, they have given me reason to be frustrated about this for decades. I think that is one of the reasons “It’s the economy stupid” resonated so much. I wonder though if, unweeded out, the current group of R notables who always seem to be trying for headlines will stick to a disciplined statement if it doesn’t please their crowds. Mostly I think whoever wins the war between old and new Rs, they will screw down their message discipline for the Nov elections.
