I am looking at all of those and am pondering Spoutible which has not launched yet.
I am doing the same as you and poking in each every day. Just started POST yesterday. I like it but it is not well defined yet. There is no limit (yet) on how much you can write. I like this because I used to blog. Not easy to find others though. Mastodon is non linear but OK. This site is too visually busy for me. My new full time job...finding my new social media platform.
@MichelleRNCHPN Am waiting for Spoutible too. Coincidentally I also started Post yesterday. Too soon to have a feel for it. I have found a number of old friends on Mastodon by dumb luck since there is no search function.
Realizing that there won't be a perfect substitute for the bird site.
