Got 1600 words done, and I'm just shy of 19k on my #nanowrimo project. I'm so determined to win this. Good thing I've still got a week to try! I'll be a winner if I even make it halfway.
@NikkiBuschEdit I like writing without abandon and worry about what I'm putting to "paper". Helps me not over analyze all my work.
33k is an AMAZING number!
@BabyToaster Smart move at this point in the writing process. There's plenty of time for fine-tuning after you finish.

@NikkiBuschEdit Yeah, that's the stage I'm at right now. I've been having a hard time writing for a long time, and I need to just...enjoy it. Even if it sucks, lol.

I tried it a few years ago and didn't finish (hit 33K words), but I'm glad I had the experience. It showed me my strengths and weaknesses and made me a better fiction editor too.
