Time for then! I'm Brad, got nicknamed "Comrade Brad" by some angry ding dongs protesting vaccines in my hometown and, leftist that I am, I liked the ring and figured I'd keep it.

I live to read and write . New MCU releases are basically religious events to me, and I'm writing this post between deaths in .

Even if this isn't the new Twitter, I'd be happy to just have a positive space to network with other writers and make new nerd friends.

@Comrade_Brad Having a positive networking space is why I'm playing around over here too. It'll take a lot for me to abandon twitter completely, much like I haven't completely abandoned Facebook, etc. But I like having different spaces for different things. Twitter was turning too much into a marketing tool/popularity game.

@BabyToaster a lot of the authors I follow there are moving to just using it as a marketing/announcement tool now and looking to use spaces like this to engage in more personal ways, and that seemed pretty wise to me, so here we are!

@Comrade_Brad I think it's good to have separate places from readers/fans to talk shop/whine and not be shamed for it. Can't do that while marketing. Or so I've been told.
