A good friend messaged me today:

"You're dedicated and born and raised to defy authority you don't respect."

I might just print that out and post it in thirty different places where I can see it anytime I need a little oomph. I may have a new personal mantra.

@Qbae It definitely ranks high among the reasons these blasphemous heretics will not be staying in the promised house of many rooms.

I mean, there’s a lot of reasons really but this is one that’s definitely up there.

@S_r_stone That's pretty much how it is for me too, but with dogs I'm okay if I wash my hands right after petties, but cats now just send me to the hospital.

Ex-wife had 7 cats...it's one of the reasons we're no longer married...even after seeing me get life-flighted for a really severe attack, she simply refused to give them up. I loved her, but she was crazy.

If they start shutting down schools, or removing classes from the curriculum, or turning schools into propaganda factories, I will be happy to teach classes on or offline to anyone who wants to learn. I am not an expert on everything but I do know a few things and I have books.

@Lulz4l1f3 No, because things like ebola are scary, but burn out fast because people just die. They don't run around quietly infecting people for a long time before they show symptoms.

I'd sure hate an ebola or marburg virus with a 2-week incubation time where you're infectious though.

Watching "Hot Zone", a National Geographic dramatization of the history of the last Ebola outbreak, and it's making me paranoid.

One thing I did not know, we first found out about the outbreak when 6 monkeys died in DC, and we tracked it back to Africa.

Does that make you paranoid? Ebola Zaire (90% fatality rate), spreads through bodily fluids. No cure, no effective treatment.

@VelvetDuchess This is the result of losing the fairness doctrine, IMO.

The MSM has been unabashedly pro-nazi this entire election cycle. Real journalism is pretty much dead, and the 5th Estate was supposed to keep these fuckers in check. People voted based on lies and fear that cheeto pushed with help from Russia.

They know how to win and they will do it again in 2028.

@ITKV @VelvetDuchess The "fairness doctrine" is also what caused the "news" to put a normal person saying sane things about say, the economy or rights, right next to people like Trump, who spew insanity and garbage, giving the impression that both are just as serious and worthy of consideration.
