Is it better to live in a red zone of a blue state? Or a blue zone in a red state?

@Anouk I am a blue dot in a red state, and I need to escape. I want to move to California.

I’m in fairly blue Pittsburgh, now red Pennsylvania. It’s iffy. The next 4 yrs could turn us blue again.
New England is too fucking expensive.

@Anouk I am in red South Dakota. I had hoped this year with marijuana and abortion on the ballot that it might actually turn blue, but I was sorely mistaken. My candidate in my district only got 12% of the vote.
