Being found innocent or guilty of a crime by a judge or a jury of other citizens ISN'T MEANT FOR the wealthy, powerful, & politically well-connected...
It's just meant for us lowly serfs.
That's what we're seeing by Republican reactions to the DFG RICO Georgia case.

Also, they don't see the rest of us Americans as their peers...
They probably only see a select 100 people, in the 1% club, as their peers.
And they think those people would find them innocent.
