@Astartiel Besides the droll humor one thing I liked was the casting of Wyatt Cenac. Notice how in most shows with a Black character you can tell the script specified it: Black roommate, Black surgeon, tough aging Black detective.

Here clearly the script simply called for "journalist" and Cenac just happened to be the actor cast. He's so good.
